Prior to us filming in different locations, we created a risk assessment in order to note the possible hazards associated with them. Including the probability, severity and overall risk of these hazards. In total ,we will be filming in 7 locations, but we noted the ones which could cause potential harm to either those filming, or members of the public. Risk assessments are carried out so we can see beforehand the effects our actions and equipment will have on us or those around us.
We showed different examples such as props and locations. As well as members of the public. This is because we need to consider those around us and ensure we are not disruptive. The equipment and props will be brought outside in external environment, so we will need to ensure we return equipment in the conditions we found them in. Office supplies will be used to set the scene of the detectives and give a more professional outlook. Meaning supplies should be used carefully and also returned in correct conditions.

We have also stated how we will overcome the risks corresponding with these locations or props. If there were more extreme risks, there are different procedures that would be carried out, such as first aid. However, we ensure to film in areas which we can promote health and safety, to not put ourselves or others in harm.

We filmed in the forest for one of our locations in the trailer. So we in particular had to be wary of any trips and falls on hills and pathways. Thankfully it was quiet and not busy around the area in Canham. We benefited from this as we were able to film freely, ensuring our shots were a accurate with no additional people in the background. Equipment used was used appropriately and returned how they were initially found. Concluding us with effective and safe filming, after reviewing the risk assessment.
